They were patient in taking the time and making sure we ordered the right armor stone for the job. The wait was well worth it. The purpose of this letter is to strongly recommend Naturally Defined Landscapes as residential landscapers. We employed Matt and Mitch (Naturally Defined Landscapes) in early summer of 2020 after a search of smaller landscapers recommended to us by neighbours and general contractors. We had just completed a major renovation to our home and were looking for a firm who could visualize our needs and provide ideas for the entire property.
We found both Matt and Mitch to be knowledgeable and flexible. Furthermore they listened to our wants and developed a detailed plan and choice of materials that suited our taste as well as budget. Any deviations to the plan were agreed to in advance and enhanced the entire project. They were agreeable to changes and priced enhancements fairly. Not only were Matt and Mitch hardworking and reliable but they completed the project on time. Also that their company was local to Guelph was important to us and the results were exactly what we had hoped for.
It was not just technical skills, which impressed us though. They worked with a positive attitude and stayed on schedule. They own much of the equipment which tended to keep costs down while avoiding delays to rent machinery.

My experience using Naturally Defined Landscapes was wonderful! They were extremely professional and their work is very high quality. I believe in this industry you really get what you pay for and I would 100% recommend them to my family and friends.
I would highly recommend NDL. Not only were they extremely professional, but they went above and beyond what we expected, moving and transplanting bushes, carrying materials from our old walkway (which we wanted to keep) to the side of the house and neatly piling it out of the way. They also laid plywood on our lawn and newly paved driveway to prevent damage, freshened up our mulch, and put grass seed down where dirt was showing beside new walkway. We had a few questions and a couple last min changes, and they were very patient and accommodating. They did a lot of work for us including new porch, 2 walkways, banding around driveway and turnaround area, as well as an armour stone wall. We are very pleased and absolutely love how everything turned out!
